Pac-Man 30th Anniversary is a browser tribute to one of the most recognizable arcade games ever made. The rules haven't changed in thirty years, and that's exactly the point: steer a hungry yellow circle through a neon-blue maze, clear every pellet on the board, and stay one turn ahead of four ghosts who are learning your habits faster than you'd like.
What made the original stand out in 1980 still holds up today. There's no story to follow and no tutorial to sit through - you understand the goal within five seconds of looking at the maze, and the challenge comes entirely from timing, spatial awareness, and knowing when to turn a corner instead of running straight into a ghost's path. This version keeps that same directness while running smoothly in any modern browser, on a laptop, a tablet, or a phone in your pocket.
The four ghosts each behave a little differently once you spend a few rounds with them - one tends to cut you off at intersections, another hangs back and waits. Learning those patterns is most of the game. Power pellets sitting in the four corners of the maze flip the hunt around for a few seconds, turning the ghosts blue and vulnerable, which is usually where the real scoring happens if you're brave enough to double back for them.
Because everything runs client-side in the embedded game window above, there's nothing to install and nothing to configure. Load the page, press start, and you're playing. If you'd rather open the game in its own tab, the fullscreen button below the maze does exactly that, and the reload button resets a stuck or slow-loading session without you needing to refresh the whole page.
New to the maze or just need a refresher - here's everything covered from load to high score.
Scroll to the game window at the top of the page and give it a moment to finish loading - no account or download is required.
Click inside the game window, then press Space or tap Start to spawn Pac-Man at the bottom of the maze.
Use the four arrow keys on desktop, or swipe in a direction on a touchscreen, to steer Pac-Man through the corridors.
Guide Pac-Man over every small dot in the maze without letting one of the four ghosts touch him.
Grab a large flashing pellet in a corner to turn the ghosts blue for a short window, then chase them down for bonus points.
Clear the board to advance a level, and keep beating your own best score - the maze resets fresh each time you start again.
Everything about this build is aimed at getting you into the maze faster and keeping you there longer.

Arrow-key movement and the original scoring feel, so the muscle memory from 1980 still applies.
The layout and the game window scale down cleanly, so it's just as playable on a phone as on a monitor.
Drop distractions and expand the maze to fill your screen with a single button, no browser settings to dig through.
A single run takes minutes, but ghost patterns and pellet routing reward players who keep coming back.
No paywalls, no premium levels - the full maze is available every time you load the page.

Yes. The maze resizes to fit your screen and supports touch controls, so it plays the same on mobile, tablet, and desktop.
Use the arrow keys on a keyboard, or swipe in the direction you want Pac-Man to turn on a touchscreen.
Give the window a few seconds on a slow connection, then use the Reload button under the game. If it still won't start, try disabling an ad blocker for this page or open the mirror link in the footer.
Fullscreen relies on a standard browser API supported by all modern desktop and mobile browsers. If a browser blocks it, the game still plays normally at its regular size.
Scores reset when the page or the game window is reloaded - this tribute page doesn't create accounts or store cloud saves.
